Dust to Dust

LENGTH: 27 minutes
Dust to Dust was shot as a "secondary" project during my coverage of the invasion of Iraq. My primary focus was still photography but my video camera was with me all the time until it succumbed to the dust storms that rode 60 mph winds, blanketing everything in layers of burnt orange "Talcum powder." Dust to Dust was a finalist for best short film at the USA Film Festival. The film originally aired on PBS station KERA.
